Cleaning these areas up has many benefits: You’re protecting animals, fish, birds, and plant life from the risks that the trash brings, and you’re also sending a message to other people that someone cares about this piece of water or land — that it’s not a place to dump their unwanted items.
Get Involved
BAWC can help with organising regular group tasks. These can include
Cleaning a specific street or block.
Delivering water
and snacks to other volunteers.
Assisting with volunteer check-in.
Taking pictures of the event.
Separating garbage from recyclables during litter collection.
Painting playground equipment.
Planting or mulching an area.
